In order to maintain a family atmosphere within the club, certain rules must be set forth and abided by. Any violation of the rules will result in disciplinary action including strikes against the offending club member. After 3 strikes have been given, termination from the club will result. Depending upon the severity of the violation, immediate termination from the club may result.
Profanity: Everyone has stumped their toe, or busted a knuckle, and let out something they wouldn't normally say. This can be overlooked as long as it isn't a habit! However profanity as a regular part of conversation will not be tolerated. This has been a problem in the past, and some club members have avoided coming back to shows because of this. We would like to resolve this problem in order to bring those members back, and to assure new members they can bring their children and enjoy the events without fear of hearing offensive language.
Sexual harassment: Sexual harassment includes suggestive language, sexual innuendos, rubbing, touching, staring, grinding, or any action that makes a club member feel uncomfortable or unsafe. This will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If you feel you have been sexually harrassed, notify the club president immediately. Depending on the severity of the sexual harrassment, this can be grounds for immediate removal from the club
Discrimination: We do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, sex, religion, monetary status, or intelligence. These events are car shows, not fashion shows. However we do reserve the right to protect the club from negative influences.
Offensive clothing,stickers, tags, etc: As a family oriented club, we wish to maintain a good rapport with the public at large. This means that we cannot tolerate any offensive clothing, stickers tags, or any other item that could be deemed as racist, discriminatory, or demeaning to any individuals of any race ,creed, or sex . Examples of items that will not be allowed are confederate flags,swastikas, clothing with racist remarks, known gang colors,or items that contain discriminatory remarks, or sexist remarks. Our intent is to represent a family oriented club and not to offend potential members, or the general public.
Horseplay and practical jokes: Everyone loves a good practical joke as good as the next guy, however, let's refrain from actually doing anything to the cars. everyone has worked hard on their cars, and spent a lot of money. Also horseplay around the cars is not permitted, because accidents do happen!
Smoking and dipping: Smokers and dippers remember that other people may not want to breathe your smoke, or walk in your spit. Lets always try to be considerate of others while partaking of our vices.
Alcoholic Beverages: Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at club functions.
Stealing: Stealing will not be permitted under any circumstances. If you need something, just ask, I am sure someone will be happy to help you out. Stealing is considered as a serious offense, and is grounds for immediate removal from the club
Rules are subject to additions and ammendments as needed. Anyone removed from the club due to violation of the rules or misconduct is not due a refund of membership dues!
